something to chew on....

I am off to work at Comox Base today.  
Trying to keep socially separated as two of us work on an airplane.  
Should be interesting.

This morning I was listening to Zechariah speak to God's people.
4:6 Then he said to me,
“This is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel:
Not by might, nor by power,
but by my Spirit, says the Lord of hosts.  

The word to the king in Jerusalem.....
Even if you have lots of might
Even if you have lots of power (and he didn't)
it is actually the wrong paradigm
This is a spiritual battle
This is a Heavenly thing
that will bring change to the physical realm....

Could it be so now?

Could this be a word for Us?

What would that look like?

Jesus said that I must abide in the branch
to bear His fruit John 15:1-8
vs 5  If a man remains in me
and I in him,
he will bear much fruit;
apart from me you can donothing.

Abide in Him

What does that mean?
vs 7 He says, "My words remain in you....."

Lord Jesus,
Abiding in You
Your Words....
But I think so much more....
Listening
Asking
Anticipating Your presence
Your preparation of good things
for me to do
Today.
Yes.
