Fear and Comfort

A phrase in Acts caught my attention this morning; "So the church throughout all Judea and Galilee and Samaria had peace and was being built up. And walking in the fear of the Lord and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, it multiplied."  9:31

In the peace after persecution, there was a posture of Fear or Awe/Extreme Reverence coupled with Comfort or Help when in need, towards God.

And in that tension.... the church grew.

God, in this time, I reverence You and rest in the comfort only you can bring.
I worship you.
