Chapter 53.
The picture of the suffering Messiah.
Smitten by God.
Broken for my sin.

700 years before Jeshua.... 
The dividing of even our calendar....
BC, AD....

and how this chapter is 'forbidden' in Israel
because it brings the picture of Jeshua to mind....

Reading reminded me of a clip I saw a few years ago.... 
how this chapter has been omitted from public reading in Israel...

a very different picture of what they expect for Messiah.

Oh Lord,
You chose to punish your son
for me
and many like me.

Lord, Open my nation's eyes
my world's eyes
Your People's eyes.

Israel.

to Your gift
so precious
and costly.

Yes.
