Sonrise

Isaiah spoke of a darkness, a place where shadows had death... and a light dawning.  I love his word picture. The first hint of day, a rosy hue on the horizon. The end of night, end of fear, end of desperation and beginning of hope.

Matthew records his words as being fulfilled in the arrival of Jesus.  Matthew 4:16 the people living in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.

Lord, I feel like we are in that place again.
The beginning of a new day.  :)
