Words - food?

Reading Deuteronomy chapter 8 this morning 
- God Chose Israel    
- Established Israel    
- Sustained her.   

and before they entered the land 
Moses reminded them 
that when they became affluent 
they might forget that.
and put their trust in
the things that bring destruction.

and in all that Moses said is a
very interesting statement
- one that Jesus quotes dealing with Satan's temptations.
"Man does not live on Bread alone
but on every word that comes from
the mouth of the Lord."
ref Deut 8:3, Matt 4:4, Lk 4:4

Later on Jesus told His disciples that His food
was doing God's will.... that it actually
impacted the physical needs of His mortal body.....
ref John 4:31-34

So Lord,
Today I am reminded
that every penny
every blessing
the very breath I take
is connected to
Your Goodness
and Promise
and Life.

and I thank You
and receive that from You
and joy
in how You love to provide for me.

Your Words
Your Presence
You..... in Me

I am Your child
choosing to do
Your will

...Food for Today.
