Acceptable?

This morning I was reading about  
Peter talking to Cornelius 
about the Messiah. 
and Peter was surprised, 
'Wow, God is not biased, 
He accepts anyone   
who fears Him 
and 
does what is right.' 
and then Holy Spirit descended onto them 
and filled them      
read about it in Acts 10:34-48     

A heart attitude
that submits to God
AND
is obedient..... ie... Walks it out
in 'real life'

Acceptable to God?
How do I hold God in my heart?
Am I walking according to His instructions?

Pretty straight forward.

Lord,
Thank You for surprising Peter
that it is so straight forward
and clear
who is 'acceptable' to You

I do choose to love and fear You
I do choose to walk in obedience to Your Spirit
and Your Word
