Am I violent Enough?

John the Baptist, in jail, was wondering if Jesus was the Messiah.  This was part of Jesus' reply to John's disciples. "From the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force." Matthew 11:12

I have always wondered about this statement Jesus makes about those pursuing Heaven. 

The violence of drowning men....  grasping at anything to keep from going down.  Jesus' observation was that the prostitutes and tax collectors were not 'gentle takers’ of salvation.....Nor should they be.

So...
what is stopping me from 'chasing' This Kingdom?
