This morning I was reading through Ezekiel....
Lots of Judgment talk
Lots of Die if you abandon God talk....
Lots of
Consequences of Sin talk....

and in the middle of it all 2 verses stand out.

Ezekiel 18:23
Do I
take any pleasure in the death of the wicked?
declares the Sovereign LORD.
Rather,
am I not pleased when they turn from their ways
and live?
32 For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone,
declares the Sovereign LORD.
Repent
and live!

Choice.

Choice to Sin
and suffer

Choice to meet the Creator, walk in His ways
and
Live.

And He is still giving - Choice...

and it is so interesting
that my world declares
God is unjust
Not fair
He punishes
and sends to hell
and is generally mad, bad, angry
and just
not nice....
.....to give me
choice....?

Hmmm

Romans 2 continues this foundation of God's desire
for Men and Women
Boys and Girls...
...me....

4 Or do you show contempt for the
riches of his kindness,
tolerance and patience,
not realizing that God’s kindness
leads you towards repentance?
5 But because of your stubbornness
and your unrepentant heart,
you are storing up wrath against yourself
for the day of God’s wrath,
when his righteous judgment will be revealed.

Lord,
My society misunderstands You
Sometimes I even misunderstand You
Your Kindness
Your commitment to Love the unlovable
and bring to a place of Life....
because NOT choosing You
DOES result in
DEATH

Thank You for bringing life
to me.

Today

Yeah.
Thank You.
