Beginners mind

Yesterday when I was mulling over the disciple's response 
born out of 'expectation'  
and missing the true information Jesus was trying to tell them 
I wasn't sure how to have the  
mindset that doesn't have a predetermined outcome...    

How do I come to a situation 
ask God to intervene 
and Not have an expectation of how He will answer?    

and I realized that in Jesus' teaching 
from the context of the disciples arguing about how great they were
Jesus gives them an example of what their mindset needs to be
a way to not miss His true way of operating
and His true mission.

That mindset is one of a
child.

Greatness in the Kingdom is not rated on
'Earth Standard'
- Intellect
- Resources
- Power

but
beginner's mind....
a fresh, open, trusting, no assumptions
way of looking at life and God.

Lord,
You are helping me understand
how to hear You better.
Beginners mind...
Childlike faith
Trusting that life out of my 'box'
is not out of Yours...

Thank You for opening to me.
