This morning I was reading Jesus' prayer
and a topic or phrase that I hadn't noticed before
repeated a couple of times....

"Believe that the father sent the son" ref Jn 17:8,21

Lots more in His prayer,
but I hadn't noticed that truth being repeated or 'highlighted' before.

In Jn 6 the people ask Jesus, "How do we 'satisfy' God?"
His response.....
"The work of God is this: to believe in the one He has sent" ref Jn 6:28,29

No 'performance'
No tasks to do
No high intellect required
In fact even a little child can do this...

Believe that the Father
Sent His only son
and....
as the voice on the mountain said to the disciples,
"Listen to Him!" ref Matt 17:5

It's a big deal.
....That I believe
God has done many things....
but this 'thing'
is a BIG DEAL
a game changer.

I DO believe
but I wonder....
are there areas of my world....
my life
that I actually
don't apply that.....

Hmmm...

Lord,
Thank You for teaching me
the very simple criteria
to step into LIFE
and...
To receive more from You
and the Father
believe more...?

Teach me about that
please
and
Thank You.
