Big picture... am I up for that?

 This morning I was
Impacted by the life of Joseph.
Not what he did.
But what he didn't do.

He didn't rail against God when
things went 'south'..... literally taken south
to Egypt.

He didn't rail against his brothers when they finally showed up.
Toyed with them a bit... for sure
to find out what was bubbling in their hearts....
but no vengeance, no 'justice'...

And the Cupbearer.
Forgot about him in the 'pit' for 2 YEARS...
No mention of 'getting him'...

In the end he chalked it all up to God
being sovereign in his life
God doing what God does
with a man fully given over to His purposes.
In His time
In His way.

Genesis 50:15-21 is the sum up....

O Lord,
You have poured out Your Spirit
into my heart....
and I want to walk as Joseph did.

Fully available
Fully 'expendable'
for Your purposes..
and Your timing...

Thank You for reminding me of the
'Big picture'
through Your Word to me
this morning.
That You are trustworthy....
...no matter what.

Yeah.
