Blessed

This morning I was laying in bed reading Psalms.
David gives thanks to God for all his many blessings in Psalm 21.
It got me thinking....

I feel blessed today....
Why?.

I thought back to the many prayers for many things....
and the many answers....
- Entrance into Tech school 1981 - there was a one year waiting list.... made it first try.
- Job after school - hardly anyone in my graduating class had one.... I did.
- Buy an airplane - is it the right decision?... Dad helped me.... we owned that airplane for over 25 years and it helped a few in the family to fly....
- Go to Bible School.... which one? what about money?... Capernwray Harbour.... Yes.
- Marry a lady from Bible School....? - Yes. been married almost 31 years!
- Teach Flying? - Yes
- Be a Pastor? - Yes
- Own a house - Yes
- Have children - Yes
- Buy cars and trucks and bus and another airplane... - Yes
- Change careers - again... Yes
- Travel internationally - Yes
- Go to the Holy Land - Yes.....
and more...

Oh Lord,
You have indeed made the lines fall
in pleasant places Ps 16:6
I am a blessed son of Yours.
and Yet
Each of these blessings came with
a crisis
a request
a decision...

And looking back I have seen how You have
worked Your Life and Love
through those circumstanes
to teach me
and reach me
and remind me
of Your Love for me.

Yes.

Thank You Lord...
Seems so... Trite...

Yet...
I Thank You...
