Character revealed

In an article about people who win big in the lotto, a man who won 50M 5 years ago said an interesting thing. "Quick money amplifies character, including a person's flaws and weaknesses."
It reminded me of a Proverb that says, "The crucible is for silver, and the furnace is for gold, and a man is tested by his praise." 27:21

Interesting that scripture tells me that character forms in difficulty and crisis Romans 5:3-5 and Fame reveals that character.

Lord, I want to learn, that I might pass the test
to Your honor and glory.
