Close my eyes.... and see?

This morning working through 2 Corinthians 
and being reminded that
the Kingdom of God does not value the things of this earthly kingdom
the same as I often do.    

To know Kingdom values
I will find them in the person of Jesus 
- His compassion
- His justice
- His reliance on the Father
- His grace
- His power
- His humility
- His love.

and as I come to know that Kingdom
it will impact how I do this kingdom....
- finances
- business practices
- knowledge / information / logic
- responsibilities
- freedoms

Paul reminded me that
what I see is temporary
and what I don't see
will last forever... 2Cor 4:18

and that I need to
'fix my eyes' on the
unseen....

It seems so....
... almost ridiculous

to 'look' to the
invisible
as the real
and
'look past' the visible
because it will pass away....

Hmm...

1 Timothy 4:7b train yourself for godliness;
8 for while bodily training is of some value,
godliness is of value in every way,
as it holds promise for the present life
and also for the life to come.

Lord Jesus,
You call me to live in the unseen realm
while I navigate the seen....

You have given me Your mind
to see and know
but I still find it
so difficult and
'counter intuitive...'

Thank You for Your spirit
to teach me
guide me...
through the day.

I trust You.
to reveal to me..

the unseen.
