Good day, Black Creek Church family,

Donna and I are home again from our time with my family in the Edmonton area.

It's always interesting shifting gears from family and relationships and 'being' with people

to work and jobs and 'things' that need to get done.

and then...

as I stepped into my 'work zone' on Wednesday I was surprised by the impact of yet another loss.

A pilot friend died in a crash 2 weeks ago.  The hanger crew is pretty sombre as most knew him and some were very good friends.

It feels like this is a season of loss.

and yet...

I feel held and lifted

and

I am curious about how God is forging change in my life and those around me.

I pray for those experiencing loss. But even more, I pray for those who have no eternal perspective.

Pray with me, that I would be real, human, and the fragrance of life and hope.

2 Corinthians 1:3  Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort,

4  who comforts us in all our troubles,

so that we can comfort those in any trouble

with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.
5  For just as the sufferings of Christ flow over into our lives,

so also through Christ our comfort overflows.  NIV

Blessed are those who mourn... for they shall be comforted  Matthew 5:4

Blessings as you pursue Him

in the midst of life's turmoil,

Peter Jackson

In Team with You.
