Good day Black Creek Church Family,

This week Donna and I were blessed with a visit from a young mom and her child.

She needed some time to do in-town appointments, and Donna volunteered to look after her one year old boy for the day.  Busy times!

When I got home, we had supper and fun re-connecting.

About 17 years ago she came to live with us for the school year.

There were lots of challenges then and following with many ups and downs as she worked to find her way.

Now she is married. Her husband works.  They live in a little RV.

They are finding their way... including conversations around God and His place in their life.

I think back all those years ago.

I wondered if she would survive to see 2025, let alone be 'responsible' and a really good mom and wife.

O Lord, thank you for letting Donna and I 'see' your

process of redemption.

Your Keeping power and care over those in our life.

Thank you for encouraging us to keep on giving

even when sometimes it seems fruitless or thankless.

2 Peter 3:9    The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.

This Sunday is a Lunch Fundraiser to send 2 of our Youth to Tanzania

Come out toencourage Wade and Brayden and have a great lunch together.

Pray for those in your circle of care who are in need of a touch from our Lord.

Galatians 6:9  And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.

10  So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

Blessings as you push into

Loving well,

being Kind

and walking into what Jesus is calling you to

today.
