Good day, Black Creek Community Church Family,
This week I received a phone call that required me to check in with the Lord to see if I needed to get involved in person (would require plane tickets and time away).
- I asked with open hands.
- I wondered what would indicate whether I needed to go or stay.
- I spent some time on the phone with a few people to get a sense of the situation.
- I prayed.
On Wednesday I received another phone call and God gave me a very calm and thoughtful heart and mind. We prayed for a way forward for the person and ended the call.
20 minutes later they called back and let me know our prayers had been answered. A way forward opened up.
Wow!
Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always;
again I will say, Rejoice.
5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone.
The Lord is at hand;
6 do not be anxious about anything,
but in everything by prayer and supplication
with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
7 And the peace of God,
which surpasses all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Next Sunday - July 7th will be a celebration for our Grads.
What a great milestone to celebrate with them.
Please pray for those in our circles who are struggling with loneliness.
Ask the Lord how you might encourage them.
Thank you Jesus,
You make a way, when it seems like there is no way.
Thank you,
Blessings on your week
