Discipler... What's that?

This week I have been mulling over thoughts about
what it means to a discipler....
Where would I start?
What would I say.....?

Jesus instructs believers to 'make disciples'
in Matt 28:18-20
- often called the great co-mission....

But what does that mean?
'Baptizing them
and teaching them
to obey everything I (Jesus) commanded'

Reading the Bible?.... Bible study....?
Hmm... Yes.
Praying together....?
Yes.
Walking through life together
asking the spirit for guidance..
Living in a community that relies on Christ
and each other for stability in our walk....?
Yes.

Not Rocket Science
but I find I need to be
Intentional.
Choose.
Engage.

Lord,
I choose again
to step up
and walk into
what You have for me
in the community of Your Body.

Sharing what You have given me
and receiving what You have given others
for me..

Thank You for
teaching
speaking
leading me
in how to do that
day
by
day.
