Eyes to see.....

This morning  
I was reminded of Yesterday..... 
Woke up with a sore eye..... 
I had gone to bed with something in it... expected it to clear by morning.... 
tried fiddling around to see if I could get whatever was there out..... 
When Donna got up she got a good light and could see a black spot on my cornea 
Magnet... nope, "q-tip"... nope    
Off to a medical clinic...
In some pain, snoozed, woke.... 
Prayed a prayer 
I know God CAN do it... 
but WILL He?..... 

So in some ways not really a super prayer of faith...
Yet while I was waiting
and waiting...
(the incoming nurse had missed printing my info
because her computer glitched at just that moment
and actually I wasn't in the cue....)
So while I was waiting
and watching others go into the rooms
that had come in after me.....
something changed in my eye
a pain like sand and then
much less pain....
and when I finally went in to see the Dr.
No speck.
Just an abrasion where it had been....

Hmmm....
Now my 'unfaithful side' says,
"It just happened"
My 'Faithful in God side' says,
"delayed,
Prayed,
removed,
verified,
Happy in Jesus,
Yeay!"

Donna checked it when I got back to work....
Speck Gone.
At lunch she looked again
and a small speck in a piece of mucus was on my lower lid...
Thank You Jesus.....

Now for something a little bigger?! :)

Thank You that
I can see You
and Your work
When I apply eyes of Faith....
Not just hopeful thinking
but Eyes that see Your work.

Thank You for an Eye
that now sees
and is comfortable too! :)
