Hang in there..... Push through.

This morning I did hear the word
'Perseverance'.

Not a word my world picks as 'first choice'....

Read in the first few chapters of James
'Count it all joy when I face trials....
because then I will be able to
persevere.' ref James 1:2-4

and he goes on to talk about the fruit of that....
that persevering
takes me places that I can't get to
without that attribute.

In fact in Psalm 50:23 David reminds me
that Sacrifices of
Thanksgiving
Glorify God....

Thanksgiving that is a sacrifice
speaks of Perseverance
in trusting God is Good
even when life is NOT nice.....
When things are Not the way they should be....

So.I choose to
persevere...
I thank God
for His unfailing presence
in the Midst of the 'stuff' that is trying to
crush me.

Thank You Jesus
I rest in You
Life is pretty sweet right now,
but I know that is not a given...
and
I choose to
thank You
and
Rest in You
and trust in You
and even consider trials
as training
as joyful
as they bring me
closer to You.

and You can do that
in me.
every day...
