Here come da judge... run! ...to Him?

 This morning I was thinking of David's words,  
"Blessed is the man whose transgressions are forgiven,  
whose sins are covered."    Psalm 32:1        

Yes, there are other places where he exhorts to live rightly,   
But here he speaks to the place of 'humanness'   
His mortal, sinful nature   
his propensity to fail...   

And he doesn't beat himself up with that 'flaw'....
he goes to the one who is judge
with confession
to receive of the Goodness of God
forgiveness from God. vs 5

He reminds me that all who call on the Lord
have access
have a place to retreat to.
- Not hiding from God (as Adam did)
but IN Him.
He is actually my Refuge! vs 6,7

My Judge
is also my Redeemer....

Jesus said that He came for the 'sick',
the 'sinners'
those who acknowledged their need.... Mark 2:15-17

Lord Jesus,
I find in You
not judgement
but care

You made a way
for me to come to You
and You invite me to do that
You call out for all who know their brokeness
to come....

I repudiate shame and fear
and run to You
my rescuer
my rock and redeemer.

Thank You Lord and Master..
