Hope.

Last night I was talking to a friend.    
He hasn't been hearing the news for the last 4 weeks....      
I told him..    
in the last 4 weeks the world has / is changed...... :(       

This morning I read HOPE   
that in the midst of Chaos 
and fear 
and uncertainty....    

God.....    
is for us.         

Psalm 46:1
God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. 
2 Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
3 though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah 
4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy habitation of the Most High. 
5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved;
God will help her when morning dawns.
6 The nations rage, the kingdoms totter;
he utters his voice, the earth melts.
7 The LORD of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah
8 Come, behold the works of the LORD,
how he has brought desolations on the earth.
9 He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
he breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
he burns the chariots with fire.
10 “Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!” (ESV)

My choice
to not only rest in God
but to participate in
the rescue of all people.

Wow.

2 Cor 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ,
he is a new creation;
the old has gone, the new has come!
18 All this is from God,
who reconciled us to himself through Christ
and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:
19 that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ,
not counting men’s sins against them.
And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation.
20 We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors,
as though God were making his appeal through us.
We implore you on Christ’s behalf:
Be reconciled to God.
21 God made him who had no sin
to be sin for us,
so that in him
we might become the righteousness of God.

Lord Jesus,
Thank You for the reminder
that IN You
I have Hope
and a steadfast promise
that Nothing is a Surprise to You
and that You are not only for me
but You
equip me
to be Your Man
in the middle of
what looks like
Nothing good.

Thank You Lord
Jesus.
I get to be a messenger
of
Hope.
and
Promise
and
Rescue.

Yeah.
