Lookin back.... or Forward....?

I got a bit of a download this morning on
Law and Faith.
Old and New...

Reading from Heb 7:18,19      8:6

Old looks Back
New looks Forward

- The Law reveals my past actions and life (sin)
- Faith points me in the direction of What God Has for me....
now and in the future....

One keeps reminding me to check if I am 'In' or 'Out'
The other keeps me looking to my Lord who saves me
and gives me Hope

One Keeps reminding me of my sinful broken state.
The other cleanses my conscience and sets me free.... ref Heb 9:13,14

No wonder Jesus is the center of 'Good News'!

and
no surprise it takes a paradigm shift
to stop thinking in terms of Old Covenant.... checking it out...
Keeping a tally, 
- am I good enough?
    - have I done things right?
        -will God be happy with me....
and
start thinking of what I have to look forward to....
what He has prepared for me...
because
He HAS cleaned up my past mess of sin
and set me free to live into the Glory prepared for me - today! and
forever!....
read Heb 10:19-23  Eph 2:10

Thank You Jesus
for the possibility of
Hope
    and
        Life
            over
      condemnation
   and
guilt

I choose Faith in You
I choose to look forward
to what You have.
