This morning I was reading a business article on
micro-manage vs delegation.....    

Both have a place.. 
The 'rule of thumb' is; 
if another person can carry out the task with a 70% 
certainty of satisfactory performance -> Delegate. 
otherwise 
Manage.     

Peter was asked if he was connected with Jesus    
3 times 
He denied it 
3 times.....     

This morning I read how just a few days later
Jesus asked Peter 3 times
if he loved Him....
and Peter said Yes - 3x
and Jesus delegated
Shepherding...
Feeding the lambs and sheep...
Taking care of those who follow Jesus...
ref Jn 21:15-17

Jesus didn't start him off with a probation period
or ask him to do it 3 more times and then reevaluate
He didn't check to see if Peter could/would perform well first.....

Because
Jesus knew something
Jesus asked Peter to do something
that He would equip him for....
and within a month
the Holy Spirit came.

And Peter preached
and
thousands came to know Jesus

The Business principle is a good idea
but it doesn't take into account
the Power factor....
God's Holy Spirit

Hmm

Lord,
You hold me (with the Holy Spirit)
Capable...
You trust me to 'get the job done'
and
You are not phased by my apparent failures
You
are confident that
YOU
will complete the good works
You
started in me.... ref Phil 1:6

AND

I can hold and walk
with those I teach and mentor
in the same way...

Your work
Your disciples
Your Body.
Hmm...

Lord I see how you
empower me
for every task
You call me to.

Thank You.
Yeah!
