This morning I was thinking about
the stupid things I have done without realizing it
and later on....  ahhh  :P
Yeah.
The soldiers mocking Jesus
as a...
king,
dress Him up
hand Him a reed for a 'scepter'
and jamb a 'crown' of thorns on His head.
and bow down in front
and call out
"Hail, King of the Jews"....
and then spit on Him
laugh at Him
and then take Him away
to kill Him
by the most sadistic way possible
- crucifixion
where the person slowly 
suffocates to death.
sometimes taking days...  ref Matt 27:27-31
and after all that...
at the end of it all
when the world seems to be
tearing in two...
the centurion and those with Him
the ones just hours before who mocked Him
exclaimed,
"Surely He was the Son of God!"  ref Matt 27:54
Ooops...
Sorry.....
Didn't know He was 
the Creator of the Universe...
the Judge of the Living and the Dead
the Master controller of all things
and
the One who came to Save men
from their sinful nature....
Double Ooops...
Hmm
I wonder what they thought
when they went to bed that night....
I wonder what they thought when they got up Sunday morning
and heard that something weird happened at the tomb...
I wonder what they thought when they kept hearing
of miracles that continued to happen
in that dead carpenter's name....
Lord,
Have I 'walked' 
on Your
Sovereignty?
Have I taken You as someone
ridiculously less than who You ARE?
I ask Your forgiveness
I bow my head in shame
I choose You
as my King
and Lord.
and I
thank You
for 
second
and
third
and
two hundredth
chances....
Thank You
Lord.
