The priestly breastpiece had 12 gems representing each tribe and 2 gems that indicated God's answers to questions.  This was worn over the priest's heart when he entered into the Holy Presence of God... 
So Aaron shall bear the names of the sons of Israel in the breastpiece of judgment on his heart, when he goes into the Holy Place, to bring them to regular remembrance before the LORD. Exodus 28:29

Hmmm.... are those in my circle of influence over my heart, before the Lord?
