Praise fruit.... Huh?

This morning I was interested  
in the fruit of generosity...     

Paul is teaching the Church in Corinth 
that giving away results in a harvest....        
- sparingly = meager harvest      
- generously = rich full harvest ref 2 Cor 9:6,7    

What caught my attention was that
Thankfulness to God   
brought a 'tangible return' in this 'harvest'  
a 'growth factor'......      

2 Cor 9:12 This service that you perform
is not only supplying the needs of God’s people
but is also overflowing
in many expressions of
thanks to God.
13 Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves,
men will praise God
for the obedience
that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ,
and for your generosity
in sharing with them and with everyone else.
14 And in their prayers for you
their hearts will go out to you,
because of the surpassing grace
God has given you.
15 Thanks be to God
for his indescribable gift!

- Generous hearts
- Gift fills needs other have
- Praise given to God
- Prayers for those who gave
- Joining of hearts between the two groups
This is an indescribable gift!

This 'circle of giving'
- I receive back
more thank I give out
not 'in kind' but
as God is praised
He is released to be the
catalyst to stimulate more

more generosity
more growth
more joy
more relationship health
more....

Lord,
You are teaching me
about
the Ways of Your Kingdom
Sowing and reaping.
abundance
freedom to give more
Not to GET more
but to live
Richer.
Fuller

and that Thanksgiving
and Praise
to You
has a 'value'
releasing YOU into the mix....

to bring
abundance....

Wow.
