Pride.... Words... ....Cleanup. :(

I was bugged this morning.... 
I said something the other night 
that I was thinking might be a bit 'off'   
and God reminded me today 
that it WAS off.    
and I need to not just watch my words 
but listen more closely 
to His small voice 
when I FEEL like I have a beef to broadcast.....  

oh yeah.... :( Pffffft.

Pv 11:12 - Whoever belittles his neighbor
lacks sense,
but a man of understanding
remains silent.
13 Whoever goes about slandering
reveals secrets,
but he who is trustworthy in spirit
keeps a thing covered.

Lord,
I've Done it before....
.... Don't want to do it again...

Heard You speak
and somehow justified that...
'It's no big deal'....

But it is
Cat's out of the bag
and only Your Grace
keeps the collateral damage minimized...

And I do ask for that.

....But I wouldn't have to
If I had obeyed...

Thank You for this teachable moment Lord.
the reminder from Your word.
and what I need to do....
- Learn
- Cleanup as necessary.
- Move on

OK, I can do that.
It's actually not that hard.
when I leave the pride behind....
