This morning I was reminded of investment strategy...
How do I invest time and money and emotional energy....
As I read Matthew 5 and 6 I realized it was actually a
Kingdom investment advise talk
from the Creator...
Kingdom strategy
using Kingdom principles
to result in Kingdom growth
and Kingdom treasures...
Starting in 5:3
Blessed are....
For they will receive....
Blessed are....
For they will receive....
5:12  Rejoice and be glad, 
because great is your 
reward in heaven, 
for in the same way they persecuted the prophets 
who were before you.
6:1  "Be careful 
not to do your ‘acts of righteousness’ before men, 
to be seen by them. 
If you do, 
you will have 
no reward
 from your Father in heaven.
2  "So when you give to the needy, 
do not announce it with trumpets, 
as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, 
to be honoured by men. 
I tell you the truth, 
they have received 
their reward in full.
3  But when you give to the needy, 
do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
4  so that your giving may be in secret. 
Then your Father, 
who sees what is done in secret, 
will reward you.
Investing...
Kingdom values
done in secret
done quietly
done without looking for repayment 
this side of Heaven
God placing treasures
on my behalf
to be enjoyed later...
Hmmm.... wonder what they look like....?
wonder if in the amazement of God's visible presence
if they will even matter!
Probably...
They are treasures from God!  Hmmm...
Lord,
Thank You for the reminder
to invest
long term
to think outside my 
NOW box
and begin to implement
Kingdom strategies
to bring mustard seed change
to my circle of influence.
to bring
Life
in place of 
cynicism
pride,
apathy
Your Life
Your flavour
Thank You for filling me up
to spill out
Your goodness... :)
and know that You reward me
not only now
so blessed,
but later too!
