This morning I was thinking about
being
Canadian...
Not plaid shirts
and hockey...
but
keeping my opinions
to myself
in fact
maybe not even having an opinion...
Ezekiel told Israel
that their actions
would have a Re-action
sowing things against the laws
of goodness and rightness
would reap
destruction and collapse
of their society
AND
the nations around would
not be
surprised.
In fact they would declare
it was
Normal fruit.  
that destruction is the 
Logical result
and they would 
Laugh at the stupidity
of thinking otherwise.... Ref Ez 22:4,5
And it did happen as Ezekiel prophesied.....
Hmm...
And the Nations wagged their heads.....
So....
the things going on in our society
- Sexual promiscuity
- 'Rights' of individuals - even to the death of their babies
- Financial 'promiscuity'
- Moral laxness
and somehow to 
speak out
to call truth truth
is being 
'Un-Canadian' 
or
Judgmental....
or
Incorrect... (Politically)
So how does these thoughts
differ
from just a 'rant'
or a 'doomsayer' column?
I Think it is
I need to Know
How to Walk
and Talk
In the Truth
and in Love
as God directs me
As His word teaches me
Then I will find that (tricky, difficult) place 
where
Relationship isn't destroyed
for the sake of Truth
and 
Truth isn't compromised
for the sake of Relationship....
Lord,
I need to know
When do I NOT speak...
and
When DO I....?
When do I give Grace
- give what is not deserved....
and when do I 
lay the 'cards of reaping destruction' on the table
and have that difficult 
conversation....?
Thank You that I can trust You
To teach me
and 
to help me clean up the 
messes
of that learning process  :P

for doing that...
for aligning me
with Your Kingdom
- what it means
to be a
'Canadian
Christian'.
