This morning I was thinking of 
the Heart of God....
So much of my culture has a warped sense of
What He is all about
Reading in Ezekiel this morning
and came across these passages;
Eze 18:23  Have I any pleasure 
in the death of the wicked, 
declares the Lord GOD, 
and not rather that 
he should turn from his way and live?
Eze 18:32  For I have no pleasure 
in the death of anyone, 
declares the Lord GOD; 
so turn, and live.”
Eze 33:11  Say to them, 
As I live, 
declares the Lord GOD, 
I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, 
but that the wicked turn from his way and live; 
turn back, 
turn back from your evil ways, 
for why will you die, 
O house of Israel?
He IS
Life....
so it just makes sense
that
He desires to see
all His creation
Live.
Yet because He is also
Just
somehow my culture has
twisted His picture
and character
to someone
that rejoices
at the death of the wicked....
Oh Lord,
That I would Know You
better.....
That I would know Your heart
that I would reflect Who You 
really are....
even/especially to
the 'wicked'
