Which voice.....?

Met with someone the other day.
Lots of interest in things of God,
Yet something was missing....

I thought after the meeting,
"Why can't they hear God's voice?"

it came to me...
"Because they are listening to too many
other voices."
In other words;
Their mind is being fed from
places that establish and build
doubt in God's voice"

This morning I read Ps 29
here are a few verses....

1 A psalm of David.
Ascribe to the LORD,
O mighty ones,
ascribe to the LORD
glory and strength.
2 Ascribe to the LORD
the glory due to his name;
worship the LORD
in the splendour of his holiness.
3 The voice of the LORD is over the waters;
the God of glory thunders,
the LORD thunders over the mighty waters.
4 The voice of the LORD is powerful;
the voice of the LORD is majestic.

Fill my mind
Daily with worship to Him
and I well see His works
and hear His voice
AND
recognize Him
in my world of

Noise...

Lord,
Thank You for speaking to me
this morning,
for establishing Your testimony
in my heart
and
mind.

For creating a hunger
and thirst to know You more....

I choose to guard my mind
from the things that would
distract
and
confuse.
I choose to fill my mind
with Your Word.

Yeah.
