Who I am - matters to someone else!

This morning I was interested again 
at how Satan picks at the things of our  
Identity.    
Who we are.    

Luke records Christ's lineage from
Joseph (Mary) to Adam 
to GOD.... ref Luke 3:23-37   

and the very next event he records 
is Jesus being challenged by Satan 
"If you are the Son of God....."    
ref Luke 4:3,9 

Soooo....
I wonder.

What is so important
about Christ's Lineage
His Place in the Kingdom
that is SOOOO important to Satan?

Why is this point challenged?
Why is this questioned?
In Fact Satan tells Jesus that He has to
PROVE that He IS who God said He was....

And when I have to prove something
(even to someone else)
it actually reveals I have doubts
whether it is true.....

Hmmm.....

Who I am....  Matters
A LOT.

Lord,
I AM Your son.
I AM Your child
I AM loved by You

Thank You for reminding me
how Important that is
to my enemy
and to the Kingdom of Heaven
and to
me.

Yes.
I am...
Yours.
