Words....

This morning I was interested how words in the physical realm     
have power in the Spiritual realm....     
to influence the physical realm...      

In Joshua 9 - Joshua and the elders are
duped into making a pact with the Amorites from Gibeon.      
They made a peace treaty with them.      
Soon after the nation of Israel had to defend them from the kings around... Joshua 10:5-11

and this morning I read about an incident
over 400 years later
- that peace treaty was still in effect.....
but
Saul breached it
and David had to negotiate terms to reinstate it...

The crazy thing is
what tipped David off to the problem was
- a 3 year famine
........The Spiritual realm
changed weather in the physical realm
because of Saul's overzealous 'cleansing' of Israel.

3 year famine
Negotiate terms of peace pact
7 men die
Rain and food return to a nation.
See 2 Samuel 21:1-14

all connected to
- words spoken
- agreements made
- a 400 year old treaty
that was put in place by people
who were tricked into granting it in the first place.....

Hmm....

What words have I said
that are heard in the heavenlies
and influence life on planet earth even past my lifetime?

Wow.
Scary...
Really scary. :(

This is Old Covenant though.... right?
Doesn't have bearing on the New.....  does it?

Hm.....

Lord Jesus,
I am reminded that You call me to
Co - Rule this realm with You
and my words
Matter. :P

Help me hear You
and speak
Your words

walk out 
Your desire

keep to the plan
You have.

Yeah.

and I know
I can't do that
unless You walk me through it
today.

and You said You will. 
....Whew.

Yeah.  :)
