Work?

Over the last while I have picked up
on a number of scriptures 
that remind me that work 
and supporting my family 
and not being slack 
is not only Normal 
but a Kingdom imperative. 
See Proverbs 10:4,5 among many others.... 

and I feel like somehow my generation
have fallen short
transferring that to the next generation.

and it makes me wonder what happened there....

Is 'working for the weekend'
and the 'right to have a holiday'
and creation of social nets like EI
created such an expectation
that Not working
is so preferable
it is
Normal?

What is Work?
What does Your Kingdom think of
Leisure?

How do I not only find
balance in life
but teach and transfer that
to the next generation.

What does that look like Lord?
