Yesterday I was part of two conversations....   

One talking about living a life of excellence before God 
The other about worshiping the Father in Spirit and in Truth... ref Jn 4:23   

Part of the context of how these thoughts unfolded for me this morning 
was Heb 4:8-16 where the writer speaks of entering God's rest.
Sabbath rest..  
Resting from my own work  
Resting IN God's provision for me   
Resting in God's plans for me Eph 2:10   

Not a rest as in - don't do anything...  
But a rest as in - walk in the provision and resource of Heaven.....   

Jesus himself told me that;
"whoever lives by the truth
comes into the light,
so that it may be seen plainly
that what he has done
has been done through God." Jn 3:21

So....
how to worship the Father
in Spirit
and Truth.

Worship by power / revelation of the the Holy Spirit....
Worship by becoming like Jesus - the Truth.....

Hmmm....
That would be worship
In the moment
Where-ever....

not just Church on Sunday morning during the singing....

Hmm...

Living a life of excellence
By His provision
By His Spirit
By the work and inspiration of Jesus

NOT by Trying to be
good.
or nice.
or even excellent....

But by resting
In Him.

Lord Jesus.....
You truly have finished Your work
and now You ask me to walk in it....

Prepared for me
since before creation....

What do You have for me
this morning?

No surprises to You...
