All fear is gone....

This morning I was connecting the dots around
Fear    
and the Holy Spirit.....   

Luke 22:31-34 Satan asks permission to sift Peter....  
- just a few hours later a servant girl asks a simple question  
and it shakes Peter up so bad he denies....    
no, even curses that he even knows Jesus  
...his Lord.... Mk 14:66-72    

Fear.
A powerful motivator
Overriding core values
Right to THE core value....
Keeping Me alive.
No matter what....

And then the Holy Spirit comes in
And Peter Rejoices to suffering for
his Lord.... ref Acts 4:18-22, 29-31

So it makes me curious...
What shifts?
What dramatic piece is changed in Peter's value system
that Satan cannot touch.....?

What is it
that is more powerful than fear?

Restoration from the curse of Death
Eternal life.....
eliminates the fear of Death
see 1 Cor 15:51-57

When the Holy Spirit... the Breath of Life
the agent of Creation comes in
the Leverage point of Fear of Death is
removed from Satan's arsenal against humans.

Lord Jesus,
Thank You for walking me through
how Your Spirit's filling can affect me
When I let Him....
I don't need to fear
persecution
cancer
car accidents
old age....

You have bought that victory for me
and I choose to appropriate that.

Thank You for Peter's failure
and
Victory....
