Blinded by the...?

This morning I read John 9  
The chronicle of Jesus healing the man born blind.  
A miracle that had been understood for hundreds of years  
could and would only be done by the  
Messiah...     

Jesus himself said that the man's blindness  
would bring Glory to God  

and when it happened  
the Leaders were so concerned about the  
incongruity of the 'details' surrounding it...  
the apparent 'wrongness' of it  
(because it was done on the Sabbath)   

they missed the main thing.

A man who was born blind
could now see!

and so they argued about this Jesus
and when he had done it (Sabbath)
and if he was a sinner

and they missed it.

They were BLIND to it....

Hmm....

Jesus,
What are the miracles that
You do all around me....
that I 'blur' with 'details'?

That I can't see
because
'It doesn't quite fit my understanding...'

That what You do
might actually be Bigger
than my picture
....my understanding
of YOU...

Hmm.....

I choose to open my eyes
to Listen....
to think with the newness
of a childlike mind

that I would receive
Your Revelation
Your Kingdom
unveiled
Here.
Today.
