Calves and Joy....

This morning was able to finish reading the Bible.
Revelation, Malachi, Proverbs.
As you know I try to read a bit from Old, New and Psalms / Proverbs each day.
Some days it is more difficult,
some days it doesn't happen....
but most days it does.....
and it weaves truth
through my mind and memory to begin the day with....

This morning in Malachi
I was reminded that following God
is the most amazing experience I can ever anticipate.
Malachi tells me that those who revere His name
will be like calves released from the stall....
I will have healing...
I will defeat the wicked.... Mal 4:2-3
Wow,
So amazing....

Last night I heard a life story of someone
who reached the end of their 'rope'.....
and then they had a moment of change
revelation....
remembrance of the last time they felt joy....
the last time they were truly happy....
and it was
in the presence of God and His people....
And that set them on the path to
re-discover that God
and that joy....

Lord,
Thank You for the promise of
joy in Your presence.
Thank You that You are
intimately connected
and concerned
with me
and my Joy.

Thank You for the plans of
fulfillment
You have for me
Today.

Yeah.
