Community - July 4, 2024
Good day, Black Creek Community Church family,
Last week I mentioned that God answered a prayer that a friend and I placed before Him in 45 minutes!
That answer has continued to bloom and move them forward into a place of healing that last week was only a 'dream'.
Donna and I continue to hear, see and be a part of God doing His miraculous work in many situations.
Along those lines...
I have noticed that I often see more 'results' when I don't 'manage' the situation with my 'advice', but rather:
- lean into the peace of God
- listen with expectation (read.... be curious about someone's journey)
- pray
It seems like not being 'in control' is a better place to be.
When I Trust God, wait on Him,
relax.....
It is amazing what He does.
2 Corinthians 12:9 But he (The Lord) said to me,
"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.
Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses,
so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
10 For the sake of Christ, then,
I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities.
For when I am weak, then I am strong.
This Sunday we honour our Grads.
What a great milestone to celebrate with them.
Pray for our leaders this week. I suspect they need it...
Our Lord instructs us to do so... for His good reasons.
Lord, Thank You
for opening up solutions and answers in ways
that Only You could.
Thank you for teaching me to
Wait, and
Rest, and
Trust
In You.
Blessings on your week
as You look to Him
in whatever situation you find yourself in,
