Good day Black Creek Friend, Neighbours, and fellow workers in the Father's vineyard,  

This coming week I am stepping into the 'World of Camp Bob' 
It's the same world you and I inhabit,
BUT It's a bit brighter
Louder 
More impactful
Maybe a bit sillier 
And I would like to think ....a bit like Heaven...  

 I had someone ask me, "How much is it to sponsor a camper?" 
The answer is $462 
for the impact of one week in a setting where God is held high, 
fun is had, 
life is a little more 'real' 
and learning sticks.... maybe forever.   

I talked to a Grandpa today.   He is sponsoring his granddaughter  to go to Camp Bob.
She doesn't really know what a Bible is at 8 years old in Canada.
But she is really looking forward to going.
I looked into his eyes and they told me everything.  
He is so praying that she would meet Jesus.  

 One of the pilots where I work sent his girl to Camp Bob with her friend last year.
He told me she changed....  More respectful, more helpful.  Hmmm.
This year In January she started asking him, "How soon will it be Camp Bob time?"  

My ask....   Pray. 
This week coming up is staff training.
They set the tone
They carry the ball
They are front-line workers for Christ all Summer.
 They need daily fresh bread from Jesus to live this out well   

And pray too for those around us in difficult circumstances.  

 1 Thessalonians 5:11 So speak encouraging words to one another. 
Build up hope so you’ll all be together in this, no one left out, no one left behind.
I know you’re already doing this; just keep on doing it.
15  And be careful that when you get on each other’s nerves you don’t snap at each other.
Look for the best in each other, and always do your best to bring it out.
16 Be cheerful no matter what;
17  pray all the time; 
18  thank God no matter what happens. 
This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live. The Message  

I will try to send an update once and a while.  But if you don't hear from me
know that God is up to great things in our community 
and in our world.
