Good day, Black Creek Church family,

This week a friend of mine went to the mainland to take some important exams for his work.

He did not do well.

I am not sure if he passed any of his exams (I know he failed a few)....

Throughout the week I sent texts telling him I was praying for him.

Yesterday I sent this:

Psalm 54:4
God is your helper
He is the holder of your life.

Come what may.
No matter the outcome.
Lean into Him this day
And know that you are loved
Blessings

 So how does life work…

Prayer work…

Relationship with God work...

When I don't 'measure up'?

Is telling someone 'I'm praying for you' just a platitude

or more...?

Psalm 55:22a  Cast your burden on the LORD,

        and he will sustain you;

This Sunday is an India ministry info adventure and fundraiser lunch - bring your appetite

No live stream available due to sensitive information being presented.

June 9th - last Sunday adult and children School until fall

June 16 - Outdoor service and Picnic - 10:30 at the Black Creek Community Center
Bring a chair, salad/finger food, and a dessert.  We provide the rest.

Pray for our sick, challenged and lonely folks...

and maybe give them a call or visit too!

The scriptures about who I am are not just trite sayings or easy words.

But a new way of valuing and seeing myself.

I matter to God

Even when I don't 'cut the mustard' in other ways.

I need to remember

I will receive a way forward

(the exams can be retaken)

Embarrassment and feeling bad are real

But,

Life is bigger than rough days.

 Love well,

Encourage and pray for one another,

Know you are our Lord's delight

even when it doesn't feel like this is one of those

'delightful' days

Blessings on your week,

Peter Jackson
