Good Day Black Creek Church,!
I was listening to Paul speak in 2 Corinthians this morning and he said something that made me think of you.
"you are in our hearts, to die together and to live together...... I have great pride in you; I am filled with comfort. In all our affliction, I am overflowing with joy." (excerpted from 7:3,4)
Yes, those were my thoughts of you....
I hear of some of you that are reaching out sacrificially, towards those they know, and for some... towards those they don't know. So proud of you!
Our Health Officer team's decision this Friday is to keep on with the protocols that are in place and see if we can keep things stable for the next while. Pray for wisdom and courage for them as they continue to re-evaluate and manage the systems and care for our province well.
The Pastoral team and elders are looking at a part of the Covid Protocols that allow for Youth Extracurricular activities. In the order it states:
Structured extracurricular activities and programs for children or youth 21 years of age and younger can continue to operate with a COVID-19 Safety Plan in place. They must be supervised by an adult. These include: ·
- Education programs·
- Music·
- Art·
- Dance·
- Drama·
- Outdoor exercise·
- Recreational programs
Structured extracurricular activities and programs for children or youth are subject to a 50 person limit.
Performances, recitals and demonstrations are not allowed.
We are in the process of working with our youth leaders to see if we can make something happen that will fit within the order protocols. Keep us in prayer as we move forward.

We continue to pray for those who are sick or in difficulty. Ronda Kuehl has been astounding her doctors with some significant recovery markers. Continue to pray for her and Garry as they walk this difficult road.
My prayer for each of you in this time of financial, social, spiritual challenge - that you would find Jesus to be close, receive His kindness for self and those around you, and Know 'that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.' Rom 8:18
With deep love until we meet again,
or at least until next Friday Update....
