Good day, dear Black Creek Friends,
I trust your week has seen some of God's fingerprints in the events and situations you have found yourself in. I continue to find that when life isn't going quite the way I planned it, I need to pay attention.
For me that means to look with curiosity and expectation towards what God is doing, planting, or setting in motion.
It has led to interesting conversations with a Telus agent in Delhi, a Bank agent in Winnipeg, and an aircraft refueler in Campbell River.
I would love to hear some of your stories.
Although we are not meeting in the building for services we have been enjoying the Children's Church worship and Bible time broadcast at 9:30 am and the Live service at 10:00 am Sunday Morning. Continue to choose to make a regular time to tune in with your home 'bubble' to worship, learn, and pray.
Thank You Barry for leading us into Advent with the candle of Hope as well as the 24 day Christmas Song lead up.
You may be wondering why there are a number of cars in the parking lot on Thursday afternoons.... Heritage Homeschool is still able to meet in our church building as allowed for schools under the present Health Order. It is good to hear children playing and learning in the basement. Thank You Michelle and team for your excellence in doing that safely by the guidelines.
Continue to Pray
This week a friend of mine challenged me to fast and pray for 3 days this week for some of the folks who are dealing with health challenges. I wasn't able to not eat all three days, but food fasts often remind me that I am really only one day away from weakness and that God is truly my strength and that I can trust him with those I hold up in prayer.
We continue to hold up Ronda and quite a few others that are facing challenges.
We praise God that The Pregnancy Care Centre is moving forward in Campbell River! They are officially now known as: Campbell River Pregnancy Support Services
Pray for their Charitable status registration as well as a tech person who is familiar & skilled with MAILCHIMP who would be willing to help distribute their bi-monthly newsletter via MAILCHIMP.
*On December 20 we are planning to have an offering for the Campbell River Pregnancy Support Services organization at our Christmas Carol Service.
Below is the information on how to give towards this for those who would like to do that earlier than Dec 20.

I include this scripture as it came to me: Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, 25 not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
Don't feel that because we are not able to meet face to face during this short time that we are at all missing God's goodness in this verse. Phone, write, pray for, email, text, zoom, message.... probably a few others I missed.... yell over the fence if you need to.... You get the point.... God is not stopped by this and we don't need to be either.
Rich and deep blessings as you find Him to be enough,
Peter Jackson,
