God's Temple..... me?

This morning I was comparing notes 
Paul's description of the temple....   
David's plans for the temple. 

Both 'plans' from God. 

Paul says that our BODIES are the temple 
and that they are SACRED.   
and if anyone messes with God's temple.... 
my body...  
God will 'mess' with him! 
read about it in 1 Corinthians 3:16, 17, 6:13-20   

David passes on the details of the temple to his son Solomon....   
from the structure of it - including the rooms and courts   
to the details - down to the weight of the silver for the dishes....  
God gave him the plans  
read about it in 1 Chron 28 

God's temple
The place where God resides
SACRED
the word indicates that Awe should be felt around it
it also indicates that the 'object' is clean

Lord,
I am in Awe
that You would reside
and choose to make Your home
in me
That You would choose to
make this vessel
clean enough
and
sacred enough
for Your Holiness.

By Your Blood Jesus
You have done this.

So amazing.
