A friend posted a question this a week
and it was a 'doosy'....
"Could Jesus sin?"
Was it actually possible that He had the true choice
to step outside the bounds of God
and in his humanity
sin?
What a great question!
What a crazy, risky thought...
Could Jesus have blown it?
What if He had?
What if He had sinned....
What then?....
Did God the Father have another plan?....
Whoa...
Crazy thoughts...
What a great, amazing, risk taking God
to send His son into a place of actually being able to CHOOSE.
as I do each day.
and He did
AND
He was victorious
and He sends His spirit
that I might be the new creation
without bondage to Sin....
able to
Choose.
AS He DID
see also 2 Cor 5:17 and Gal 2:20
Lord.... this coming to earth
as a man
truly
with all the vulnerabilities
and risk
and DOING it...
so I can do it.
