Just Run.

This morning I was struck by Paul's attitude.  
Maturity = Straining with everything I have  
to win the 'prize'   
Not just Heaven  
but Christlikeness here on earth. Phil 3:3-16   

Of all people I would think of Paul as someone who 
'made it'    
Had it 'down'   
Oh, sure there would be struggles  
but he was 'in'....   

Paul challenges me
not live that way....
In fact he tells me that confidence like that is called
'the flesh'....
It's not over until it's over....

Philippians 3: 12 Not that I have already obtained this
or am already perfect,
but I press on to make it my own,
because Christ Jesus has made me his own.
13 Brothers,
I do not consider that I have made it my own.
But one thing I do:
forgetting what lies behind
and straining forward to what lies ahead,
14 I press on toward the goal
for the prize
of the upward call of God
in Christ Jesus.

Lord,
The race is not won
You are the prize
Here
and
There

And I push on
Push in...
to not miss
what You have promised.

Yeah.
