 This morning I was a bit preoccupied
thinking of the Trump / Clinton debate of last night.
Wondering where we (Canada) and the USA will be
in 4 years from now....

Then I read David's words in Psalm 10
(a continuation of Ps 9)

David cries out to God
that the wicked prosper
and seem to do what they want...

and Yet....

In the end....

God reigns.....

16 The LORD is king forever and ever;
the nations perish from his land.
17 O LORD, you hear the desire of the afflicted;
you will strengthen their heart; you will incline your ear
18 to do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed,
so that man who is of the earth may strike terror no more.

Oh, Lord,
That our Leaders would not only
acknowledge You
but Honour You
and find in You
their very life
and the Life for the Nations
You call them to lead....

Oh, Lord,
That the people of the land
would know You are King
and You are a Good King
and to serve You
is our
Salvation.

Thank You Jesus
for David's quandary
and questions
to remind me...

You are
..King.
