Pride.... again?! :(

Pride.    

Our men's group has done a couple of studies on it...   
Scripture warns of it's seduction....  
This morning Paul reminded me  
of the Glorious, Awesome feeling of  
being picked...  
chosen...  
special...  
when God reveals His Kingdom to me  
and yet  
in the middle of that  
the challenge of not being  
PROUD.... See 2 Corinthians 12:1-10

I was watching a show the other day that involved
a religious order that practices
Penance
a way of showing
-  repentance
-  remorse
-  wanting to change
and a comment was made regarding the practice....
'too much penance tends towards pride'

Hmmm...

Oh my heart.
So tricky.

Lord,
Thank You for persevering with me
Never giving up
Not holding back
You grace
Your gifts
You sticking with me

even when I get it
and then apply it
wrong.

I choose to live into....
'When I am weak
Then I am
Strong'.

Yes.
