Red Heifer....?

I was reading about the 'Red Heifer' in Numbers 19:1-13 
- the ashes of the heifer was used outside the city gate....     
was provision for purification after contact with a dead person. 

and now - even today....   
it is a quest to find the perfect red heifer...  
They have been trying for years to find this heifer
a genetic anomaly....
according to rules of men,
the animal cannot have more than 1 black hair.....
...a big deal for those who want to again be cleansed...

and Jesus also suffered outside the city gate
to make the people holy through His blood
....so let us go to Him
outside the city
identifying with Him
the disgrace that He bore...
for me..... ref Heb 13:11-16

Lord Jesus,
You have made provision
for me to be cleansed.
You.
The perfect lamb
and the perfect 'heifer'
sacrificed
that I might be acceptable

no work of mine
no pride in my efforts
Just a thankful heart
You made the way
for me.

to be holy
cleansed.
